2005 我愛台灣 臺灣語 演講比賽

慶祝2005年度亞裔傳統月、台灣傳統週,大紐約區 我愛台灣” 台灣語演講比賽將于五月十四日假紐約華僑文教中心舉行,歡迎年青學生朋友透過演講比賽來分享個人獨特的台灣及臺美經驗。

本次比賽將開放給年紀在六至十八歲之間的年青朋友,不論文化背景,以華語、福臺語、客臺語、或原住民臺語四種台灣語言中任選一種參賽。各語言組依參賽人員數目及年齡分配得由主辦單位再做(或不作)細部分組。

日期:2005年5月14日﹐ 星期六下午﹐ 13:30 -- 18:30

地點:紐約華僑文教中心﹐ 41-61 Kissena Blvd., Flushing, NY 11355, 718-886-7770.

語言分組:1華語組 2福臺語組 3客臺語組 4原住民臺語組

題目:參賽人自選一有關於台灣、台灣人、臺美人題目

時間限制:2 - 5 分鐘

評審標準:內容(30%)、發音腔調(35%)、臺風(35%)、各組由三位評審委員評比

報名截止日期:所有電子郵件及普通郵件報名必須于五月七日寄達

獎勵:每位參加者皆可獲紀念獎品一份。各組前六名另發獎狀及獎金,前三名加發獎盃一座。

2005 “I Love Taiwan” Speech Contest

The 2005 Metropolitan NY “I Love Taiwan” Speech Contest will be held on Saturday, May 14, inviting

the youth from tri-state region to share their very own understanding and experience of Taiwanese

and/or Taiwanese American heritage. This program will be part of the 2005 celebration of Taiwanese

American Heritage Week in May.

The contest will include speech competitions of all four ethnic languages spoken in Taiwan: Mandarin,

Holo, Hakka and Aboriginal. The contest is open to the youth generation with age from 6 to18,

regardless of cultural background. Participants in each language category may be further subcategorized

at organizer’s discretion according to the number and age distribution of participants.

Date: Saturday, May 14, 2005, 1:30 pm –6:30 pm

Location: Chinese Cultural Center in NYC, 41-61 Kissena Blvd., Flushing, NY 11355, 718-886-7770.

Language Category: i). Mandarin, ii). Holo, iii). Hakka, iv). Aboriginal

Topic: Select own topic related to Taiwan or Taiwanese American

Time limit: 2 to 5 minutes

Evaluation Criteria: Contents (30%), Pronunciation (35%), and Presentation Manner (35%) by

a panel of three judges.

Sign-up Deadline: by email or mail arrived no later than May 7, 2005

Prize: Each participant will receive souvenir prize. Certificates and cash prizes will be awarded to the

first six places, and additional trophies will be awarded to the first three places in each category.
